Welcome to Kat’s Kitchen Therapy: Where the Food is NOT always Hot and the Kids are ALWAYS Rambunctious.
Hey, You.
Reheating the same cup of coffee—for the third time—like it’s gonna put your brain in order?
Staring at the chaos, wondering what the plan is today… or if there even is one?
Wiping butts, dodging meltdowns (yours and theirs), and somehow still pretending you’ve got it “together”?
Yeah. You’re Definitely my people.
And this might be where you need to be.
I’m Kat—mom of two tiny humans under 3, A preteen, A teenager, and soon to be adult, also a part-time office warrior, full-time keeper of the chaos, and someone who deeply believes that the kitchen can be a soft place to land when everything else feels loud.
This blog is called Kat’s Kitchen Therapy because that’s exactly what it is: a place where food meets feelings, where we talk about real life crap, and where nothing has to be perfect to be comforting.
Here, you’ll find:
- 🍼 Honest stories about parenting (the raw, the funny, the holy-shit-is-this-my-life moments)
- 🍝 Comfort food recipes you can actually make with a toddler hanging off your leg
- 🧁 Sweet things that taste like care and survival
- 🫶🏼 Reminders that you’re not alone—even if it feels like it some days
I’m not a chef. I’m not a parenting expert. Neither am I a therapist. I’m just a mom trying to keep it real and make something beautiful out of the mess. If you’re here, you probably are too.
So pull up a chair. We don’t do judgment here. We do leftovers, laughter, some crumbs, and maybe some healing.
Let’s be real—with a little Kitchen Therapy.
🧡
Kat
